The Original House is a two storey, three bedroom wood and stone dwelling with a cedar shingle roof dwelling overlooking the lake and Rakaia River. The upstairs master bedroom has its own fireplace and balcony. An ensuite adjoins this master bedroom with a spa bath in the window and separate steam shower.
Also contained on the same level is a large dining room and commercial kitchen with fireplace that leads into a spacious lounge with another open fireplace and a small sunroom. Doors from the lounge flow onto a large wooden deck with BBQ area overlooking the lake.
The lower ground floor accessed by stairs from the main foyer has two large bedrooms. These downstairs bedrooms are serviced by two toilets and one bathroom with double hand basin and walk-in shower. There is also a laundry with washing machine and dryer.
A children’s play area has been purpose built at the rear of the house with firewood storage for guests stored at the main entry carpark.
