Getting Here
Just an hour's scenic drive through quintessential Canterbury countryside from Christchurch International Airport (taking highway 73, then highway 77), or a short helicopter flight to the foothills of the Southern Alps. A short drive 15 minute drive away is the small township of Methven, you’ll find cafes, grocery stores, entertainment, venues, a post office, a medical centre, even a movie cinema - everything that you will need to make your stay comfortable.
To reach Montrose Estate, follow the number 77 scenic highway from Methven towards Opuke (Mount Hutt). Turn on to Arundel Rakaia Gorge Road and follow this to Blackford Rd. Montrose Estate is located at number 592 Blackford Rd, Mount Hutt, 7782.
