There are numerous helicopter adventures available for you to experience the beauty of the high country combined with the thrill of riding in a helicopter. Skiing and snowboarding
Montrose is perfectly situated to ensure that you are on your skies/snowboard in just 30 minutes. Look up from your chalet and you will see the slopes of Mt Hutt, boasting the longest ski season in Australasia and features an extensive range of slopes to suit all skiing abilities. Enjoy the spectacular views from the top; you can see Mt Cook, New Zealand’s highest mountain and over the Canterbury plains all the way to the ocean! Heliski options are available from Mt Hutt or arrange a helicopter pick-up from your chalet, taking you out for an unforgettable full day experience with New Zealand’s leading heliski operation.
